Simple Nourish — Nutrition Coaching
A premium nutrition coaching site with a cyanotype design system — Prussian-blue plates and paper-white leaves, inspired by Anna Atkins photograms.

1 / 3
Simple Nourish coaches clients toward lasting nutrition habits, not quick fixes. Their brand needed to convey calm, permanence, and botanical heritage — so we reached back to cyanotype: the 1840s photographic process used by Anna Atkins to document seaweeds and ferns.
What we did
We built a complete design system around two hues: deep Prussian blue and paper white. Every section alternates like a print folio — blue “plates” hold content, paper “leaves” breathe between them. Emphasis comes from a white halo/bloom, never a third colour. The result is serene and unmistakably premium.
Recipe cards are generated deterministically from their slugs — white photogram plates on Prussian discs, procedurally created from each recipe name. No stock photography, no licensing concerns. Motion One adds subtle scroll reveals and magnetic button interactions that feel natural and unhurried.
All site copy — programs, recipes, testimonials, FAQs — lives in structured data under src/lib/data/, so updates are easy and everything stays in sync across pages.
The outcome
Simple Nourish now has a signature visual identity that is memorable, on-brand, and completely theirs. Visitors spend longer on the site (scroll reveals reward exploration), and the calm, considered design reinforces the core message: real nutrition takes time, and it’s worth it. Every element — from type choice to motion to colour — supports that single idea.
